Meet your SOR Treatment and RECOVERY Teams!

Many OMNI staff support the evaluation of the treatment and recovery components of Virginia’s SOR grant. The SOR Treatment TA team has the most contact with CSB staff as they resolve technical issues and support administration of the GPRA through trainings and other TA resources. Project Oversight and Leads provide high-level support and guidance in evaluation and technical assistance. The SOR Recovery Team works with partners across the Commonwealth, from CSBs to state colleges and recovery housing programs, to evaluate all areas SOR recovery funding reaches. You can contact either team at SORSupport@omni.org.

Joscelyn Inton-Campbell

Joscelyn (she/they) started as a Researcher with OMNI in June of 2021. They provide research expertise using a mixed methods approach, as well as technical assistance to support organizational capacity building. As a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer who served two years in Morocco working in youth development, she prefers to ground her work by building relationships with a community and ensuring projects are led by the voices of those impacted most by them. Being a non-binary trans woman, they have also seen firsthand that marginalized communities have the knowledge needed to make lasting change. While she might get overexcited talking the nerdy details of research and theory sometimes, she’ll always bring it back down to earth with real-world examples and metaphors that are hopefully far more approachable.

JULIA RICOTTA

Julia (she/her) has been with OMNI since June 2019 and works on SOR Treatment reporting and evaluation. She also supports the TA Team, helping with communications and TA resources. Julia primarily focuses on substance use disorder treatment and recovery, and has worked with several treatment centers on evaluation outcomes planning. Kate (she/her) joined OMNI in December of 2020 and leads the SOR Treatment Team. Prior to OMNI, Kate worked on the Wisconsin SOR grant as a substance use evaluator. Kate has more recently lead efforts to visualize and prioritize COVID-19 data. Kate enjoys helping projects find their "data stories" and empowering stakeholders to explore and connect with their data. Despite being a self-proclaimed dog person for many years, the cats have won her over during COVID-19 and she unabashedly subscribes now to Instagram dog AND cat channels. In her free time, Kate enjoys hiking, biking, ultimate frisbee, and really anything outdoors.

Katie gelman

Outside of work, Katie keeps busy chasing after her three small boys and enjoys being active outdoors in almost any way she can.
