On behalf of the entire OMNI SOR Treatment Evaluation and TA Team, we wanted to congratulate all of you for a job well done in SOR I data collection! We are pleased to report that we've met our GPRA goals, and the best part is that our rates have exceeded those of many other SOR grantees.
You may recall that a month or so ago, we shared that the Virginia SOR grant surpassed the goal of the second fiscal year (October 2019 thru September 2020), completing 1,500 Intake GPRAs. Combined with the intake GPRAs completed in the first year of the grant, this resulted in an overall SOR I intake total of 1,878 intakes.
In addition, we'd like to recognize all your efforts to complete the follow-up interviews with clients. A total of 683 interview follow-ups were completed. As you know, SAMHSA only counts interview follow-ups, not administrative ones, but even with this limitation, Virginia reached a follow-up rate of 55.3%, which is well above the average follow-up rate of all other SOR grantees (35.1%).
We recognize the stellar efforts of everyone involved in working to achieve these goals, and are looking forward to sharing out GPRA data reports with all CSBs soon so you can see the results from what has been collected.
If your CSB would like a data file with all your GPRA data, you can request that at any time by emailing SORSupport@omni.org.
To close, we wanted to share some reflections on the SOR grant that attendees shared during our recent SOR II Kickoff meeting:
"Proud of the number of lives we have been able to enhance with this support."
"Started an entire Peer Program during a pandemic."
"The success stories shared by individuals engaged in services."
