New GPRA Materials and Links now Available! Launches Jan 21!

The new version of the GPRA launches Saturday, January 21, 2023. This means you should start using the new version on the SOR website for all interviews conducted that day and going forward.

These materials and links are now available to you at our website:

NOTE! A link to the Expiring GPRA online versions will remain active thru January 27th to allow you to enter any data collected on paper using the expiring GPRAs with interview dates of January 20th or before. They are labeled as “EXPIRING” on the website.

To reiterate, if you conduct an interview on January 21st or after, you must use the new GPRA tool and SOR III New GPRA links to do so. All GPRAs that are conducted on or before January 20 should use the expiring (current) GPRA tool and you must enter those into the corresponding EXPIRING online survey by Friday, January 27.

In November, we presented a New GPRA Information Session. To refresh your memory about changes you will see starting January 21st, we encourage you to review this recording and slides on our website this week. We will also host a Full GPRA Training on January 31st from 11am-1pm ET. Click here to register.

Please reach out to our team if you have any questions (SORSupport@omni.org).

SOR III Monthly Progress Reports Uploaded to Dropbox!

The first monthly progress report for SOR III has been uploaded to your agency’s dropbox folder. The report includes the number of Intake GPRAs your agency has completed in October and November, as well as your agency’s progress towards its Intake target. The report does not have any information related to Follow-Up GPRAs as it is currently too early in the grant period for Follow-Ups to be conducted. This information will be added at a later date.

If you have any questions regarding the SOR III monthly progress reports, please feel free to reach out to us at SORSupport@omni.org.

Sincerely,

OMNI SOR Support Team

SAMHSA is delaying the launch of the new version of the GPRA until January 21, 2023. This means you should continue to use the version currently on the SOR website for all interview conducted through Friday, January 20. Beginning on Saturday, January 21, all interviews should be conducted using the new version. We will provide more details in January as the switch approaches. (Note: this switch was originally scheduled to occur on December 10, so if you see that date on any past materials, please ignore and plan for the January timeline instead.)

Even though the launch of the new version is delayed, we will still be holding our webinar tomorrow (November 29) from 11:00am to Noon ET to walk you through the changes to the GPRA so you can see what the new tool looks like. Reminder! New GPRA Information Session: Tuesday, 11/29/22, at 11am ET

As you may recall from our SOR III Kickoff Training in September and our GPRA Refresher Training in October, SAMHSA has released an updated version of the Intake and Follow-up GPRAs that will be used starting December 10th.

This is a reminder that OMNI will hold a one-hour New GPRA Information Session on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, from 11am-noon ET. All staff who administer the GPRA are encouraged to attend.

In this training, the OMNI team will walk you through the changes to the GPRA from top to bottom. Some changes are very minor, but in other cases, new questions have been added and others have been removed.

Overall, we view these changes as an improvement in the content and flow of the GPRA tools and feel you will be pleased to learn of them.
