TA GPRA Tip

We wanted to share some information for completing GPRAs based on common questions we’ve seen.

GPRA Online Entry Process

If you’re using the print version of the GPRA, the survey should be entered into the online system within 4 days after completing the interview. The link to the online entry system can be found on the Resources page.

The follow-up and discharge online entry form is also active, and these interviews should be entered within 4 days after completing a follow-up or discharge interview as well. If your agency completed any follow-up or discharge interviews before this entry form was activated on August 27th, please enter these into the system no later than September 13th.

GPRA Administration Tip

We also wanted to highlight an area to probe while interviewing to ensure accurate GPRA data. In items B7-B39, the GPRA asks the number of days misusing each substance. Here, we are trying to see if the client is (1) using illegal drugs or (2) misusing prescription drugs.

For example, if a client reports using buprenorphine in the past 30 days, the interviewer should probe if this use was part of MAT. If the client is using buprenorphine as intended, this would not be recorded as misuse, and the number of days entered should be 0.

We hope this tip helps your agency with the GPRA administration process. Please reach out to the TA team at SORSupport@omni.org if you have any questions or concerns.
